Robin Barrow - A Brief History
I left Rose Bridge High School in Ince near Wigan aged 16 in 1973 and joined H. Plumb & Son - Bang & Olufsen dealership in Wigan where I worked for five years as an audio technician apprentice. In 1978 I joined Wigan Hi Fi Centre in Woodcock Street as a salesman, eventually becoming Manager. Along with our sister shop Southport Hi Fi Centre we were the first dealership in Lancashire to become prestigious Technics and National Panasonic dealer. We had great times at this spot but in 1981 moved to the the new Marketgate Centre, finally closing our doors in 1993. I continued to manage several Audio Visual stores around the North West, including a return four year stint at Southport Hi Fi centre until finally taking the plunge in 2006 and starting my own company.
With my wealth of knowledge, experience and practical know-how I specialise in Hi Fi and audio visual sales and installations. I sell only the very best products and I install to the very highest standards. Finally, I charge modestly for my work with no rip-off prices. For product prices I compete with the big boys and I can also beat the internet.
